NATO-Style watch straps can be fitted easily, by pulling them through between the watch and the spring or fixed bars. The old strap must already be removed for to work and the spring bars fitted again. On NATO Straps, only the top (longer) piece of the strap is to be pulled through between the underside of the watch casing and the spring bars. Next, thread the top piece (longer) through the metal loop at the end of the shorter piece until the shorter piece is back flat against the watch casing. Now adjust the position of the watch by sliding it along - That's it! Now you can watch your wristwatch again, with your comfortable new strap. Socalled NATO-Style watch straps are available in various designs and colours made of textile materials, leather and other materials. Please ensure you check the thickness of the strap when choosing your new NATO-Style watch strap. The watch strap should not be thicker than the gap between the watch casing and the spring or fixed bars.

The spring bars should already be fitted to the watch casing. Then simply pull the end of the watch strap through the gap between the watch casing and the spring or fixed bars. Adjust the position of the watch correctly by sliding it along the strap. That's all there is to it! When purchasing one-piece watch straps it is important to check the thickness of the strap is not larger then the gap between the spring or fixed bars and the watch casing, otherwise pulling it through will not be possible.
