Simple instructions: Place the metal watch band in the base, remove the pins you'd like to by turning the knob against the pin, thus pushing the pin out. Such a tool makes removing links from metal watch bands much easier. After removing the required links, put the band back together with the pins and a hammer!
Please note: Pin extractors are usually not suitable for very tight round band splints. For this, please use a pin ejector set in conjunction with a watchmaker's hammer.
