Here you will find watch bands made with the leather of the exotic stingray - The stingray lives in the asian seas and belongs to the large family of rays which are related to sharks. Their skin shows a special perl-pattern. With much effort one of the most remarkable leathers is created. It stands for the mysterious beauty of the oceans and is very durable. The skin of the stingray has therefore also been used as favored material for the handle of samurai-swords.
NOTE: The leather used in all watch bands has been purchased according to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species and therefore does not threaten the survival of the particular species. The stingray skins used are a sideline product of the food industry - the stingray is presently not an endangered species.
