The brand ABELER & SOEHNE is an allusion to the beginnings of the manufacturer CEM (Carl Engelkemper in Munster) more than 100 years ago. This was the beginning of the story which saw a family that produced many masters of watchmaking. In 1898 the first watchmaker master in the family, Heinrich Abeler, founded his workshop in Munster, Germany. With his help, one of his sons took over the watch and jewellery wholesale firm Carl Engelkemper in Munster in 1936, which today is run by the third generation of the family. The brand ABELER & SOEHNE pays homage to the first watch maker master Abeler and to the long tradition of quality and proficiency in the making and the trade of watches. Due to quality without compromise, unadorned elegance and its classic design, this brand features watches for every occasion.
